Folio 143: Walpole to Weymouth. The king is at Marli. F.141 [about the Canada paper] has been referred to the controller general. He does not believe the report that Hyder Ali (Haidar Ali) has taken Madras. Paoli is reported at Leghorn. As the court seems to be `insuch good humour with us', it would be appropriate to re-open negotiations about the payment for maintenance of prisoners of war.
