Folio 172: Harcourt to Weymouth. Spain has placed an embargo on all ships at Cadiz and Barcelona, in order to acquire a number of transports for sending troops to Louisiana. The abbé Begliardi has arrived from Spain, possibly to aid Choiseul against du Barry. The fate of the French Compagnie des Indes will be decided in a few days. There is discontent and unrest in St. Domingo.
