Folio 255: Walpole to Weymouth. The compagnie des Indes representative cannot speak English. The move of the negotiations about prisoners to England may expedite matters as the French have been very dilatory. He regrets Guinand's recall before the Canada liquidation has been completed. Several French warships are to be fitted out at Brest. This report may arise from a contract made with Prussia from Pomeranian timber.
