Folio 213: Memorial from the compagnie des Indes in reply to the account rendered by the British company for the maintenance of French prisoners. Because the British company refused to act according to the cartel made at Ecluse in Flanders in 1759 between Britain and France, its claims are null and void. Other reasons for non-payment are given. The French company will send a representative to negotiate.
