Folio 90: Interrogation of the captain of the Resolution. He had been appointed by the second in command, Wilson, who had a letter from the owner telling him that he was in charge. The captain denied knowledge of the contents of the cargo, of the ship's destination or of the machine for letting in the water.
Date and place: 1768 Sept 11 Granville.
