Folio 45: Manifesto issued by Paoli. France has no right to claim sovereignty over Corsica and Genoa no right to hand it over to France. The Corsicans are independent. He calls everyone to arms, cites Choiseul's deceitful remarks and refers to the Treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle.
