Folio 215: Frazer to Shelburne. Desmaretz is away recovering from illness. The sluice of Kesleloot needs to be repaired. It would be dangerous to let much water into the canal of Furnes. The magistrates have approached him. He see no objection to the repairs. 500 men are clearing the canal.
Date and place: 1768 Aug 30 Dunkirk.
