Folio 207: Rochford to Shelburne. Bastia and San Fiorenzo are not yet linked but soon will be. French casualties are higher than reported and more troops are going to Corsica. Apart from Choiseul and his circle people are very worried and fear war and national bankruptcy. France has asked help from Naples' navy. Encloses f.209.
Date and place: 1768 Aug 25 Compiègne.
