Folio 73: Choiseul to Rochford. A reply in form to f.69. The king is surprised and claims the right of any country to act and make treaties, if it does not harm any other and does not infringe treaty obligations. The treaty with Genoa about Corsica is such a treaty. Britain will receive a copy as soon as it is ratified.
