Folio 67: Rochford to Shelburne. Encloses ff.69, 71, 73 about Corsica. Britain's reaction may cause alterations to the original plan. The two secret clauses involve an annual subsidy to Genoa and an agreement that, if the French are ever to restore any places, they will never be handed to the Corsicans. Avignon is to be taken away from the pope and Naples is to take Benevente on the same day but the nuncio, if not recalled, may remain. D'Eon is in close correspondence with Choiseul.
Date and place: 1768 June 6 Paris.
