Folio 5: Rochford to Choiseul. British propreitors should not be compelled to convert their Canada reconnaissances into contract stocks. Shelburne had ordered the committee of merchants to examine and weed out all doubtful claims. Guinand is coming with all necessary information out the few outstanding claims. Porten and a French nominee should report to Praslin and the result should be ratified in England by Shelburne and the French ambassador.
