Folio 154: Shelburne to Rochford. This letter is delivered by Guinand, sent by the Canada merchants' committee. Rochford may confer with Praslin or refer matters to Porten and Marolles. He details the objections to the proposed mode of payment and the liability to the dixième and to conversion. He discusses at length the claims of Rybot, Franks and Vialars and encloses ff.170 to 188. He refers to a few minor claims outstanding.
