Folio 109: Praslin to Choiseul. 10 sailors from the vessel Prince of Wales from London, which was wrecked near Cherbourg, were being taken on the French sloop Marie Joseph to Le Havre, so as to get a ship to England. En route they seized control and arrived at Portsmouth, where the captain could get no redress. He encloses ff.111, 113, 115.
Date and place: 1768 Mar 7 Versailles.
