Folio 86: Rochford to Shelburne. Friendship between the families of Austria and Bourbon grows. He mentions the marriage of an archduchess to the king of Naples and negotiations for the marriage of the infant duke of Parma to the archduchess Amelia. But France has no wish at present to engage in another war and is frequently alarmed at the conduct of Spain. She will do all she can to persuade Spain to reach agreement with Britain about the Manila ransom.
