Folio 65: Rochford to Shelburne. Choiseul promised cooperation over the East Indies prisoners of war account. The pope has issued a Bull, tending to the excommunication of the duke of Parma and indirectly critical of France and Spain. Rochford thinks he has been rash. A revived regulation lays down that no foreigner may leave France without a passport from Choiseul. He said this arose because Gallitzin left without leave-taking and after writing him a rude letter.
