Description

Folio 1: Shelburne to Rochford. No favour has been shown to d'Eon [see SP 78/273, f.264]. A proper explanation will be required from Spain about the Havana incident [see SP 78/273, f.288]. No negotiations have taken place with Venice for a treaty of commerce [seeSP 78/273, f.288]. Norton reports French threats of force against Geneva. Shelburne has report from another source about the king of Prussia's plan to sell Neufchâtel to Bern [see SP 78/273, f.290].
