Folio 65: Porten to Shelburne. The king and his ministers are returning from Chantilly. French troops are reported to have evacuated Corsica. Durazzo is not coming to Paris. Sorba will carry on. Mr Whitworth, a commissioner for paving the city of London, wishes toemploy 20 or 30 men from Normandy to work on Guernsey at preparing the stones. Choiseul does not object. Sir James Gray has arrived.
