There is encouragement of agriculture in France. Corn may be moved from one province to another and exported. This brings money into France and means more ships and more sailors. Codfish are sent to Italy and Spain. Trade flourishes between Bordeaux and the French West Indian islands, involving 300 ships. Reference to the delivery of letters from the king [of Great Britain] to the princes of the blood. Encloses f.204 about Geneva, which he considers insolent.
