Folio 98: Porten to Shelburne. The king is again at Choisy. The Danish envoy has been instructed to deliver letters of notification of the betrothal by proxy of the princess of Denmark to the prince royal of Sweden. Porten has informed Choiseul of the British custom in such cases. He reports a dispute between France and Sweden about alleged arrears of subsidies and refers to the arrival of sir John Blois and a mr Bohun.
