Folio 89: Case of the sloop Jove or Jupiter. It had permission in May 1764 to send ashore for water in Hispaniola. It was taken by a French coastguard cutter to Port au Prince, the crew imprisoned and then it was condemned and sold. No illicit trading was intendedor carried out [see SP 78/270 f.39].
