Encloses f.126 and another letter [missing here] from Hocquart, intendant of Canada, about his property on the left bank of the St. Lawrence granted in his absence to a Frenchman by Murray. He asks for his memorial to be passed to Colonel Carleton, who takes command in Canada [ff.88, 90].
