Folio 19: Lennox to Conway. He has received 500,000 livres of the premium for the Canada paper from Laborde and encloses f.21. Reports rumour of Choiseul again becoming minister of marine and Praslin succeeding the duc de Villars as governor of Provence. Reported from Madrid that the duke of Medinaceli has been `taken up' and other nobles are likely to suffer the same fate. Lally has been beheaded. Lennox wants to be quit of the business of the Canada paper as soon as possible.
