Folio 322: Conway to Lennox. He is to press for immediate payment of the 3 million livres as stipulated in article 13 of the Canada convention. Lennox is to watch carefully the effect of the change in the foreign ministry [see f.297], also France's attitude to the Madrid disturbances. Lennox notified the release of the English children to Richmond. He should have done so in an official dispatch. He is to examine carefully the report of the sending of 4000 troops to St. Domingo and any other military developments.
