Folio 73: Richmond to [Conway]. The magistrates of Geneva wish Britain to instruct her representative, Genevan born Pictet, not to present letters of credence, which would give him the character of minister, and to order him not to interfere in domestic politics. Richmond describes the situation and urges support for Geneva, lest she falls under the domination of France. Pitlet is quite unworthy of Britain's confidence. Encloses ff.78, 80, 82.
