Folio 7: Richmond to Conway. Praslin agreed to see him on Tuesday evening as usual. He could not see him at other times unless for something very important. This is a delaying tactic. Praslin demurs at some of the terms for the Canada paper money settlement but mainly accepted SP 78/268, f.271. He has been unable to see Choiseul about Dunkirk. He has delivered letters of notification of the death of prince Frederick and encloses answers to the notification of the death of Cumberland. Refers to SP 78/268, f.275 about the merchant Larnac. Praslin, on receiving a copy of SP 78/268, f.281 about the children detained in convents, thought that a law suit in exchange for an order was not reciprocity.
