Folio 176: Sir Horace Mann to Richmond. Cardinal John Francis Albani, protector of Poland and close friend of cardinal Stuart, has informed the pope that cardinal Stuart's elder brother wishes to return to Rome and, on his father's death, which is imminent, be received with the same distinctions and appointments [see f.162]. The pope will agree except that he will not grant him any marks of royalty unless other courts do the same.
