Description

Folio 68: Conway to Richmond. He is to insist on France's acceptance of the British merchants' offer about the Canada bills and reject f.72 [see f.9]. The engineers have arrived at Dunkirk. In a postscript he relates how four French fishermen were arrested in Newfoundland and brought to England, with the intention of returning them. Strong winds have prevented this and they have been handed over to Guerchy.
