Folio 55: Hume to Conway. Praslin confirmed that Guerchy has full powers to settle the matter of the Canada bills. There is strong feeling about Palliser [see f.25]. Praslin put the French case about the jetties at Dunkirk, with criticisms of Ramsault and Desmaretz. Hume refers to the fate of the nephew of Bernis and to the grave condition of the dauphin.
