Folio 25: Hume to Conway. Praslin will give Guerchy [French ambassador] full powers to settle the dispute about the Canada bills, when he returns [to London]. Praslin complained about an incident at St. Pierre involving an English sloop and about the insolent toneof Palliser's letters [governor of Newfoundland] to the governor of St. Pierre. The Dauphin is a little better.
