Folio 212: Conway to Hume. Encloses f.217. The arguments of Fontanieu and the government are not acceptable. He restates British position and puts forward his proposals. He acknowledges passports for the Duke of Richmond's baggage and a printed copy of the declaration of the Assembly of the Clergy. He comments on the trifling by the French at Dunkirk and the recall of Mezières.
