Folio 202: Halifax to Hertford. Rejects the view expressed in f.189 that the British subjects in Dunkirk are no concern of the government. They are protected by the Treaty of Commerce of Utrecht. The matter of the Canada bills will be put before the House of Commons. Choiseul's candour [see f.142] about the Acadians is welcomed.
