Folio 72: Halifax to Hertford. Comments on Praslin's complaints in f.57 about Gambia and encloses ff.76, 80. He welcomes the recall by France of the governor of Gorée and her promise to dismantle the fort at Albreda. He asks for duplicate orders to Gorée and to Graves to be exchanged. France need not fear British policy towards Sweden. Her arguments justifying the seizing of the ship Wheel of Fortune are rejected.
