Folio 54: Hertford to Halifax. Choiseul said orders had gone for release of British ship in St. Domingo and to Martinique and Guadeloupe for the abolition of the Ordinance of 1727. Monsieur Ennery has been appointed governor of Martinique. Hertford refers to the alliance between the Archduke and the youngest daughter of the Elector of Bavaria [see f.38].
