Folio 120: Hertford to Halifax. France will give him only those diplomatic franchises, which Britain gives to Guerchy. Bouganville is soon to return to his island in the straits of Magellan, called by the French the Isles Maloines (Falkland islands) [see SP 78/262,f.190]. Encloses ff.123, 125, 127 and recommends payment of the debt referred to.
