Folio 89: Hertford to Halifax. Encloses ff.92, 100, 102. Praslin hopes these will meet Britain's demands about Turks island. But the person responsible may be reprimanded, not otherwise punished, as was the British Officer responsible for acts of violence against French fishermen in Newfoundland. Encloses f.96, in answer to f.53 about the Canadian bills and refers to prisoners of war. France again offers 15 million, to be paid in 4 years and 4 months, as a final payment, except for the East India account and the payment for prisoners after November 11, 1762. Encloses f.106 and refers to the Franco-Genoese treaty.
