Folio 19: Hertford to Halifax. Reports on talks with Choiseul and Praslin about the orders to be sent to the French governors and to the governor of the Grenadines and encloses ff.23, 25, 27. Britain was accused of under-mining the Law of Nations by sheltering d'Eon. No prospect of France acceding to Hessen's claim to recovery of artillery. Encloses f.29. Crammond's name should be kept secret.
