Description

Folio 249: Halifax to Hertford. Guerchy has delivered only 25 passports, instead of the 39 needed. Encloses ff.259 to 269. The orders to the French governors are in some respects unacceptable. Hertford is to protest in the strongest terms. Encloses f.271.
