Folio 66: Halifax to Hertford. Encloses copy of Desmaretz' answer to SP 78/259, f.182 [f.28a]. Gives his views on the settlement of Canadian bills and letters of exchange and of the accounts for the maintenance of prisoners of war. He will not grant any fishing rights beyond the terms of the treaty [see f.59]. Encloses advertisement in the Gazette [missing here] about the proposed rendezvous for ships at Dominica [see ff.23, 27].
