Folio 155: Hertford to Halifax. Sharp exchanges with Praslin about Amyand. Hertford has done all he could and resents Amyand's letter [f.103]. Encloses copy of ff.160, 162, also memorial concerning Hanoverian affairs [missing here], also f.158. There are outlandishrumours of French successes with help of Indian savages in North America. The duplicates of French orders to Guadeloupe have arrived and are unsatisfactory.
