Folio 68: Egremont to Bedford. In relation to Article 4 of the Definitive Treaty, the King of France makes a declaration recognising the rights of Canadians to repayment for property furnished to the government in times of necessity. Bedford is to accept it and continue to press for an extension of the time limit. [See SP 78/255, ff.86, 108, 110].
