Folio 167: Stanley to [Pitt]. Reports on talks with Choiseul. Entire cession of Canada and islands in gulf of St. Lawrence agreed, but Choiseul has poor reports of St. Pierre island. German restitutions not yet agreed. Asks for courier to call at house of the Duchesse de la Trémouille, in case he has had to leave Court. It is near Compiègne. Encloses papers from Dupleix [ff.170, 172, 174] and from Camouset [f.176]. France is concerned about dispute between Denmark and Russia.
