Folio 246: Gazette nr. 30, including diary of the army of the Upper Rhine from July 8 to 13 and a report from the headquarters of the army of the Lower Rhine of July 18, describing the preliminaries and details of the battle of July 15/16 (Willinghausen). Also in this Gazette are reports from Warsaw about confiscations from Jews and about Prussian and Russian military matters; from Copenhagen about personalities in Denmark and Sweden; from Vienna about military matters; from Hamburg about military activities in the east; from Madrid about the induction of Don Bon-aventure of Cordovo and about some nobles; from London about the King's intention to marry Princess Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, the Privy Council in Ireland and the defence of Belle-Isle; from the Hague report of Yorke's readiness to leave for Augsburg and of the battle for the bridge at Vestoven, won from the Hanoverians by the French; from Versailles about personalities; from Paris an account of the Lit de Justice, describing the ceremonial, the registration of the edict creating a loan of 900,000 livres and giving the names of nobles in attendance.
