Folio 208: Memorial delivered by Bussy to Pitt. France proposes that Britain and Spain should settle their differences and Spain be asked to guarantee the treaty between Britain and France. Failure to settle these differences - about prizes, Spanish fishing off Newfoundland, the demolition of British forts on Spanish territory in Honduras - could lead to war.
