Folio 147: Pitt to Stanley. Reports discussion with Bussy, who is ready to agree that 1, dates are open to negotiation, 2, French conquests from British allies be included, 3, each power should guarantee each others new possessions, 4, proper dates are to be settled. Pitt had asked what new possessions France could expect. Minorca was unlikely. Perhaps she had Ostend and Nieuport in mind. He suspects Bussy of knowing about f.134. Refers to the need for equality in the reception given to Bussy and Stanley.
