Folio 193: De Cosne to Robinson. Compares Britain in regard to (financial) credit [see f.184] with France, where life annuities are not two thirds subscribed. No news yet of sailings from Brest. Encloses lists of officers serving on ships at Brest and Rochefort [ff.196,200]. Escort ships will not go beyond Louisbourg. Mentions move of Irish Brigade to Dunkirk, Gravelines and Calais. Encloses f.202. Main interest is in situation between Britain and France. General desire for peace.
