Folio 187: De Cosne to Robinson. Report of six ships sailing from Brest [f.165] not corroborated. Troops to embark number 3,000. Dates of arrival there are Apr. 9, 11 and 14. De Crénulle, Argenson's `right hand' is in charge. Rouillé continues to desire peace. Sailing dates are between Apr. 15 and 17. Victualling for eight more ships is in hand. No confirmation of troops on Isle de Rhé [f.163]. The King returns from Choisy and will receive a deputation from Parliament at Versailles. Then the Court goes to Marly for six weeks, where only ambassadeurs de famille will be admitted. In postscript reports departure of frigate to Louisbourg and that orders to sail have been sent to Macnamara's squadron.
