Folio 186: Albemarle to Robinson. France is satisfied with explanation about Foley [see f.148]. The Dey of Algiers having acceded to French demands, the Toulon squadron is to sail, under La Galissonière, to protect trade, returning to Toulon. He is worried at having heard nothing from his agent in Lorient and Brest. Carvajal has died. His successor Huescar is lazy and pro-French. Bellegarde, the Saxon Minister, who has arrived, is also pro-French. A Spanish engineer is in the Bastille for attempting to pass a sketch of Dunkirk to Sir Richard Lyttleton.
