Folio 156: Albemarle to Holdernesse. In spite of the policy of dealing through the Keeper of the Seals over the East Indies [see f.153], St. Contest raised the issue saying British policy was to delay, until the British squadron had time to arrive and it would be too late for orders to reach them and that Holdernesse had refused to discuss Mazulipatan and Divi. Compliments to Holdernesse on the conclusion of their correspondence.
