Folio 195: Albemarle to Holdernesse. Reply about Dunkirk has been sent to Mirepoix and Bonnac. Copies will be given to Albemarle and Weiler, Dutch chargé d'affaires. Chauvelin the new ambassador to Sardinia, leaves soon. Fischer, commander of the Chasseurs de Fischer, is to raise 4000 men for Pondicherry. The Grande Chambre of Parliament is exiled to Soissons. The new Chambre des Vacations will be dissolved on Nov. 12. Thereafter the administration of justice is suspended.
Date and place: 1753 Nov 9 Fontainebleau.
