Folio 224: Letter from reliable source about news from the French East India Company, from among others the brother of Madame Dupleix [see f.163]. References to Dupleix' disposition of forces at Mazulipatan and to Tiruchirapalli. Dupleix is to work for peace, in spite of enmity between French and British Governors. Reference also to Dunkirk and a report from Brest.
